His ability to wear down his opponents with constant movement and motion has made him one of the best players without the ball. On February 9, 2006, for the first time in his career, Hamilton was selected to play in the 2006 NBA All-Star Game in Houston as a reserve guard for the Eastern Conference and has his own All Star Richard Hamilton Jersey.
